abstract <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly stereoselectively producing a homoallyl compound in a high yield by an optically active &alpha;-addition-type allylation reaction. <P>SOLUTION: The &alpha;-addition-type allylated compound is stereoselectively produced by a catalytic asymmetric &alpha;-addition-type allylation reaction where an allylborane compound is caused to react with a carbonyl compound or a hydrazone derivative thereof in the presence of a metal catalyst in the presence or absence of a ligand in a mixed solvent of water with an organic solvent. For example, in the case of a carbonyl compound, an &alpha;-adduct compound 4a is obtained in a high yield by the reaction of the formula below in the presence of metal Zn and 2,9-dimethylphenanthroline (Ligand 3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&amp;INPIT
