abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly stereoselectively producing a homoallyl compound in a high yield by an optically active α-addition-type allylation reaction. <P>SOLUTION: The α-addition-type allylated compound is stereoselectively produced by a catalytic asymmetric α-addition-type allylation reaction where an allylborane compound is caused to react with a carbonyl compound or a hydrazone derivative thereof in the presence of a metal catalyst in the presence or absence of a ligand in a mixed solvent of water with an organic solvent.
