abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quite new adjusting means, remarkably lessening game player's load in adjusting and holding the shooting strength, and provide a game machine, enhancing attention to an operating part. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes: a hit ball shooting device for hitting a game ball to any position on a game area by adjusting the shooting strength; an operation unit 1700 having an operating base 1702 provided with a sliding guide surface 1720 on the top and mounted in a fixed state, a sliding operation part 1703 supported slidably within a predetermined turning range around a rotating shaft having an axis perpendicular to the sliding guide surface 1720 on the sliding guide surface 1720, and a light emitting part 1717 for radiating light to the outside of the operating base 1702; and a shooting strength adjusting means for adjusting the shooting strength of the hit ball shooting device 650 according to the operation position of the sliding operating part 1703.
