abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing aluminum nitride which can form a high temperature resistant ceramic layer by uniformly performing reaction on the surface of aluminum powder. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a step of reactant preparation; and a step of heating combustion. In the step of the reactant preparation, aluminum powder 1 is uniformly mixed with one surface modifier to form one reactant, and then, the reactant is charged to one vessel. In the step of the heating combustion, the reactant in the vessel is exposed to the inside of one nitrogen-containing gas 3, and is then heated to ≥660°C to combust the reactant, and, the surface modifier is brought into surface modification reaction with the aluminum powder in the process of the heating, thus one ceramic layer 4 is formed on the surface of the aluminum powder, and then, the aluminum powder 1 is brought into combustion reaction with the nitrogen-containing gas 3 by combustion to form aluminum nitride. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
