abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray curable aqueous coating composition having excellent solvent resistance and adhesion, a coated metal material having a cured film of the composition, a method of manufacturing the coated metal material and a method of welding the coated metal materials together. SOLUTION: First, the active energy ray-curable aqueous coating composition comprises an aqueous resin having a chemically bonded phosphoric ester group and an ethylenically unsaturated double bond and/or a phosphoric ester compound having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond and an aqueous resin having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond. Second, the coated metallic material has an active energy ray-cured coating film which has a phosphoric ester group chemically bonded to an aqueous resin and a thickness of <=3 μm. Third, the method of manufacturing the coated metallic material is disclosed. Fourth, the method of welding the coated metallic materials together comprises welding the coated metallic materials together in the state of having the cured film thereon to effect welding. |
