abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for forming a clad layer, the composition superior in bending durability and twisting durability, and to provide a resin film for forming a clad layer, and an optical waveguide and an optical module manufactured by using the resin composition or the resin film. <P>SOLUTION: The resin composition for forming the clad layer contains: (A) a (meth)acryl polymer having a reactive functional group and a weight average molecular weight of ≥100,000; and (B) a polymerizable compound. The resin film for forming the clad layer is obtained by curing the resin composition for forming the clad layer, and exhibits a tensile breaking elongation of 10 to 600% at 25°C.
