abstract <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine with which an accurate random number is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: When numerical data is stored in a random number register in a random number circuit, a random number latch flag is turned on, and the storage of new numerical data is limited. When numerical data being a random number is read out of the random number register just as the random number is read, the random number latch flag is turned off, and the storage of the new numerical data is permitted. When a prize-ball storage count value is at or more than an upper limit, numerical data is read out of the random number register corresponding to a start pocket through which a game ball passes, and the random number latch flag is turned off. Any of a plurality of preselectable elongation times, besides a variable set time changing within a predetermined time range or a fixed time, is set as a time component included in a security time, the security time is variably set.
