abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate, excellent in the blood compatibility, having an anti-coagulation capability, and preferably, antithrombotic activity, and platelet adhesion suppressibility, and a method of manufacturing the same; to reduce the quantity of elution of a compound having the anticoagulation capability and a hydrophilic polymeric compound; and to find a quantity of introduction of the compound having the anticoagulation capability into the material for letting the compound exhibit the capability to the maximum. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to the substrate including the compound having the liquid anticoagulation capability and the hydrophilic polymeric compound. The quantity of elution of the compound having the antithrombotic activity is less than 0.6 μg/mL.
