abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and device for suppressing reduction in electrostatic property, a scumming, an electrostatic charging failure for a long time without causing increase in exposure section potential, and also to provide a process cartridge for the image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device has a conductive support, an intermediate layer, and a photosensitive layer. The intermediate layer contains amorphous oxide. The surface resistivity of the amorphous oxide is 1.0×10<SP>5</SP>Ω/cm<SP>2</SP>or less.
