abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cured substance which is produced by polymerizing and curing polymerizable compositions having β-epithiopropyl thio group or β-epithiopropyl seleno group, and also is reduced in the generation of odor. <P>SOLUTION: The polymerizable compositions comprise (1) (a) chain compound, branched compound, alicyclic compound, aromatic compound or heterocyclic compound having β-epithiopropyl thio group or β-epithiopropyl seleno group and (b) fragrant materials, or (2) (a), (b) and (c) sulfur, in which the sulfur content in the polymerizable composition is ≥20% by weight to ≤64% by weight, and the optical material is obtained by polymerizing and curing a composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
