abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an imidazolium salt's form which can be prepared easily and retrieved easily. <P>SOLUTION: The imidazolium salt is represented by formula (1) [wherein, R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each independently H, a (substituted) alkyl or (substituted) aryl, wherein R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>may be bound to each other to form a cyclic structure together with the carbon atoms bound th them; R<SP>4</SP>is a (substituted) alkylene group; R<SP>5</SP>is a 1-8C alkylene group; R<SP>6</SP>and R<SP>7</SP>are the same as or different from each other, being a 1-4C alkyl; and n is 0, 1 or 2].
