abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polymer useful for a film etc. excellent in antifouling properties, non-adhesive performance, mold release characteristics, slid performance, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, electric insulation properties, antireflection performance, flame retardancy, antistatic properties, chemical resistance, etc., and also having amphipatic properties and cleaning characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: This polymer comprises in the molecule a structural unit A derived from fluorosilsesquioxane having an addition-polymerizable functional group, a structural unit B derived from an addition-polymerizable monomer having a hydrophilic group, a structural unit C derived from an addition-polymerizable monomer having an active hydrogen-containing group, and optionally, a structural unit E derived from an addition-polymerizable monomer excepting the fluorosilsesquioxane having the addition-polymerizable functional group, the addition-polymerizable monomer having the hydrophilic group and the addition-polymerizable monomer having the active hydrogen-containing group.
