abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a set of replenishing developers, which keeps high gloss and restrains irregular glossy degree over a long period of time, and further restrains electrostatic offsets and irregular images, and also to provide a process cartridge using the set of replenishing developers and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The set of replenishing developers is characterized in that one or more colored toners and a transparent toner, together with their carriers, each constitute developers, and the developers are used as replenishing developers of a trickle developing system, each carrier has a core material and a resin covering layer with which the core material is covered and which contains electroconductive powder, the electric charge quantity of each carrier is made higher than that of the carrier of the initial developer housed beforehand in a developing machine, and the electric charge quantity of the carrier constituting the replenishing developer together with the transparent toner is made higher than that of the carrier constituting the replenishing developer together with the colored toner.
