abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spherical toner high in offset resistance, excellent also in electrostatic chargeability, while using capsule type toner excellent in low-temperature fixability, precise in a black character, line and a dot, capable of obtaining an image of high quality, small in a particle size, and sharp in a particle size distribution thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This toner contains a capsule type toner particle having a surface layer B, on a surface of a toner base particle A containing at least a resin a containing a polyester as a main component, a magnetic substance, and wax, the surface layer B contains a resin b, the resin b contains a resin selected from the group comprising a polyester resin b1, a vinyl resin b2 and an urethane resin b3, a glass transition temperature Tg(a) of the resin a and a glass transition temperature Tg(b) of the resin b satisfy a relation of Tg(a)<Tg(b), the magnetization of the toner in 79.6 kA/m of external magnetic field is 12 Am<SP>2</SP>/kg or more to 30 Am<SP>2</SP>/kg or less, and an average adhesion F50 of the toner is 50 (nN) or less when measured by a centrifugal method adhesion measuring instrument. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
