titleOfInvention | Method for producing toner for developing electrostatic image and toner for developing electrostatic image |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrostatic charge image developing toner in which a wax is finely dispersed in a toner binder resin, and to provide the electrostatic charge image developing toner.
SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the electrostatic charge image developing toner is carried out by using a single shaft continuous kneading machine, which includes a kneading unit L that includes two or more temperature controllable kneading barrel zones B1, B2, B3, B4 where shear pints 6 are disposed on an inner wall of a barrel 7, and a temperature controllable screw having a screw blade 5 disposed on a screw shaft 1, and which moves forward and backward simultaneously with rotation of the screw. In the method, a kneaded material of a toner powder raw material containing at least a toner binder resin, a wax and a colorant is discharged through an annular clearance formed between the screw shaft 1 and the inner wall of the barrel 7; and the temperature Ts of the screw shaft 1 and the temperature To of the kneading barrel zone B4 located close to a discharge side for the kneaded material are set to be lower than the softening temperature Tm of the kneaded material.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
