| abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce a porous film provided with porous layers having minute apertures on both the sides. <P>SOLUTION: In a first chamber 35, an application liquid 20 is applied to both the sides of a support 11 by a dip coater 40. The application liquid 20 on the back face side is wiped off by a blade 44, and the thickness of the first application film 46 on the front face side and that of the second application film 47 on the back face side are differentiated from each other. By air suction units 51 and 52 in a second chamber 36, dew condensation occurs on the respective application films 46 and 47. Minute water droplets are grown in a third chamber 37. When the water droplets are dried in a fourth chamber 38, the porous film 10 having apertures on both the sides is formed.
