abstract | Disclosed is a method for producing a stabilized polyacetal resin wherein unstable end groups are reduced. Also disclosed is a processing agent for decomposing unstable end groups, which is excellent in odor characteristics and effective even when added in a small amount. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a stabilized polyacetal resin wherein a polyacetal resin having unstable end groups is thermally processed in the presence of a processing agent for decomposing unstable end groups which is composed of a quaternary phosphonium salt, thereby reducing the unstable end groups. |
