abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which achieves a low temperature fixation in a high-speed system and which is capable of preventing void images in an image area by restraining toner's filming on an image carrier. <P>SOLUTION: The system speed is 500 to 1,700 mm/sec. A toner is compounded with a mother toner and an external additive. The mother toner includes a crystalline polyester resin, an amorphous resin and a wax. The compound amount of the external additive (parts by weight) is 0.30 to 0.55 pt.wt. against 100 pts.wt. of the mother toner. When a toner's FT-IR (Fourier transform IR spectroscopy analyzer) is used, and the spectrum's characteristic peak height of the crystalline polyester resin measured by ATR method (a total reflection method) is given as C, a wax is W and an amorphous resin is R, the peak ratio C/R and W/R satisfy the relation of an expression (1): 0.36≤(2.77×C/R+1.97×W/R)/X≤1.85. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
