abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimming material having excellent thermal resistance and dimming characteristics and a dimming film. <P>SOLUTION: In the dimming material containing a polymer medium which is hardened when it is irradiated with energy line and optical conditioning suspension distributed in the polymer medium, the optical conditioning suspension contains optical conditioning particles, nitrocellulose, and a dispersion medium separated from the polymer medium and its hardened material, and in an infrared absorption spectrum of mixture of the optical conditioning particles and nitrocellulose, the optical conditioning particles and nitrocellulose are contained at percentage that ratio of peak intensity of wavenumber 800-850 cm<SP>-1</SP>to peak intensity of wavenumber 780-800 cm<SP>-1</SP>becomes 0.2-0.6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
