titleOfInvention Light emitting device
abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which removes an adverse effect due to the heat produced by a light emission, does not cause the environmental pollution because of using no solder, and makes a mounting operation greatly easy.
SOLUTION: The light emitting device includes an insulating basic body 30 having a through-hole 24, a radiator 40 which has a heat conductivity higher than the base body and is inserted so that its upper surface protrudes from the through hole, and a light emitting element 21 mounted on the upper surface of the radiator. The lower edge of the dielectric base body protrudes from the lower edge of the base body; an engagement 11 directly contacted to a mounting object is formed at the lower edge of the radiator; and a mounting terminal 34 formed on the lower surface of the base body and an electrode terminal 15 of the mounting object abut to conduct each other, in a state that the light emitting device is engaged on the mounting object at the engagement.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
