abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a deodorant fiber product capable of producing an excellent deodorant effect on, not only, each of offensive odor components, including four major offensive odor components (ammonia, trimethylamine, hydrogen sulfide, and thioalcohols), and basic, sulfur-based, and acidic offensive odor components, but also, an aldehyde compound, such as formaldehyde. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the deodorant fiber product comprises obtaining the deodorant fiber product by furnishing a fiber material with a dispersion which contains (A) a complex of silicon dioxide and zinc oxide, (B) a complex of amorphous silica and/or silica alumina and a ferrosilicate salt and/or an aluminum ferrosilicate salt, (C) a polyhydrazide compound, and (D) a polycarboxylic acid and/or a salt of the polycarboxylic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
