titleOfInvention | Adhesive composition |
abstract | An adhesive composition comprising (a) an acidic group-containing polymerizable monomer; (b) a polymerizable monomer represented by the general formula (I): <CHEM> wherein R<1> is hydrogen atom or methyl group; R<2> is a halogen atom, hydroxyl group, mercapto group, amino group or -O-R<3>-OH group, wherein R<3> is an alkylene group having 6 to 25 carbon atoms; and Y is oxygen atom or sulfur atom; and (c) a hydrophilic polymerizable monomer, wherein the weight ratio of the polymerizable monomer (b) / acidic group-containing polymerizable monomer (a) is 0.001 to 0.5. The adhesive composition of the present invention can be suitably used for bonding a hard tissue with a resin material in the medical field and the dental field. |
