abstract |
Provided is a production method capable of efficiently producing a pneumatic tire having an inner layer having a light weight and excellent air permeation prevention performance and excellent in uniformity. A primary molded body in which a bead ring is externally fitted to both ends in a width direction of a cylindrical body in which a carcass material is disposed on the outer peripheral side of a film made of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition is transported and held. After sucking and holding on the inner peripheral surface of the mold and inserting the rigid inner mold 11, suction is stopped and transferred to the outer peripheral surface of the rigid inner mold 11, and both ends in the width direction of the carcass material 24 on the rigid inner mold 11. The green tire G formed by laminating the part and laminating other tire constituent members on the outer peripheral surface of the primary molded body is placed inside the vulcanization mold together with the rigid inner mold 11, and then the vulcanization mold is set in a predetermined manner. The temperature is heated to inflate the film 22 from the inner peripheral side to vulcanize the green tire G, and the film 22 is closely bonded to the inner peripheral surface of the tire to form an inner layer.
