titleOfInvention | Color filter |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter having a green pixel part, in which yellow is strong, bright green is displayed and which is bright even in a backlight source of a small light amount, when it is applied to a liquid crystal display device used as a three-wavelength tube in which it is superior in durability than a dye-based color filter, and in which the main bright line of green light is approximately 545 nm.
SOLUTION: In the color filter having each pixel part of red, green and blue on a transparent substrate, (1) the green pixel part contains a halogenated metal phthalocyanine pigment bonded to a benzene ring of a phthalocyanine molecule by 8-16 halogen atoms per molecule of phthalocyanine, and (2) the maximum transmittance is displayed in 520-590 nm in a spectral transmission spectrum in the entire region of visible light.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
