abstract <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid car control device for preventing degradation of the driving force performance of a hybrid car caused by the engine torque fluctuation occurring in the compression, ignition and combustion mode, in the switching of the combustion mode, or in the gear change in the hybrid car with an engine having the compression, ignition and combustion mode mounted thereon. <P>SOLUTION: In the hybrid car having a staged gear type transmission, the engine output shaft torque is adequately detected in the compression, ignition and combustion mode, in the switching of the combustion mode or in the gear shift in which ignition dispersion is large between cylinders and/or cycles, and the fluctuation in the driving force of the hybrid car is estimated. The hybrid car running with high efficiency, and excellent ride quality and driving force performance is performed by correcting the fluctuation in the driving force by a driving force correcting means of a motor or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
