titleOfInvention Current collector for electric double layer capacitor and electric double layer capacitor
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double layer capacitor which exhibits a large capacity and high durability with respect to charging and discharging cycle. SOLUTION: A capacitor has electrodes each formed by integrating a polarized electrode including carbon powder and binder, and a collector as positive electrode and negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution. In this case, the collector is an aluminum foil which is made of a surface roughened layer of 0.5-5 μm thickness on one side or both sides, and a part with 8-30 μm in thickness which is not surface roughened.
