abstract A biosensor capable of improving the sterility of a puncture needle is provided. A biosensor includes a puncture needle that is punctured into a subject, and a biosensor chip that collects a sample obtained by puncturing the subject with the puncture needle. Further, a through-hole 27 in which the puncture needle 12 is disposed is provided, and an elastic member 13 to be attached to the biosensor chip 11 is provided. Further, a puncture needle protection cap 14 is provided which is disposed in the through hole 27 of the elastic member 13 so as to cover the puncture needle 12 and can be peeled off by the biosensor chip 11 integrally.
