titleOfInvention | Transport shell for board rack |
abstract | Provided is a transport shell that can be transported and cleaned efficiently without damaging a substrate rack. A transport fixture for holding a substrate rack includes a top end plate and a bottom end plate. A plurality of posts attach the top end plate to the bottom plate and are spaced apart a sufficient distance to confine the substrate rack between them. Each post has a vertical internal edge. A bumper corresponding to each vertical inner end of the post is coupled. The transport fixture cushions, fixes and protects the substrate rack during transport. A shell that is at least partially light transmissive can also surround the fixture to protect the substrate rack from the external environment while still allowing the fixture and rack to be viewed without opening the shell.
