abstract The present invention provides a means for preserving DNA before and after birth. SOLUTION: Negatively charged glass beads 3 are put in a mixed solution 2 of a polyethylene glycol and sodium chloride solution, and a DNA-containing sample 4 is put in the mixed solution 2 so that the DNA becomes positively charged.
