abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both the speed of cutting and facilitating cutting of a saw tooth and increase the life of the tooth. SOLUTION: The saw tooth has a normal center hole, A regular circular body through which the teeth can be mounted on a rotary drive shaft, and a bonded abrasive grain in the form of a segment disposed around the periphery of the body, the body extending from the periphery toward the hole. At least one groove is provided. Adjacent portions of each groove are not parallel, and adjacent points of those portions are positioned so that each groove faces the direction in which it is to rotate. |
