abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To prevent sound waves from propagating from the inside of a piezoelectric sounding body to the inside of a housing of a portable communication terminal, making it difficult to cause howling of a microphone and reception of noise. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric sounding body has a case body 11 as an acoustic box, and a piezoelectric body 20 formed on a main surface of a diaphragm 19; A piezoelectric element 18 housed in the case body 11, and a taper 17 on the inner surface of the peripheral wall 13 of the case body 11. The diaphragm 1 of the piezoelectric element 18 is formed on the taper 17. 9 are supported. A sound emission hole 16 is formed in the front wall 12 of the case main body 11 attached to the sound communication section 32 of the housing 31 of the portable communication device, and on the other hand, a sound emission hole 16 is provided on the opposite side of the front wall 12 of the case main body 11. The taper 17 formed on the inner surface of the peripheral wall 13 of the case main body 19 is formed such that the inner diameter gradually decreases from the intermediate portion of the inner surface of the peripheral wall 13 toward the front wall 12.
