titleOfInvention | Gel dryer |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Problem] It is possible to reduce cost by reducing the number of parts. Provided is a gel drying apparatus which is easy to handle and capable of reducing cracking of a gel occurring during drying. SOLUTION: A gel dryer is constituted by a dry frame 1 and a dry plate 2 which can fix the dry frame 1 by magnetic force. For example, one of the dry frame 1 and the dry plate 2 is formed of a magnet, and the other is formed of a magnetic material attracted by the magnet, for example, an iron-based material such as stainless steel. When drying the gel, A cellophane membrane, a polyacrylamide gel after electrophoresis, and a cellophane membrane are overlaid on the dry plate 2 in this order, and a dry frame 1 is placed thereon, and fixed to the dry plate 2 by magnetic force. |
