abstract | Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain highly useful coal and flammable gas with good productivity by steaming various kinds of combustible organic matter pieces regardless of intermittently or continuously without pollution. SOLUTION: The carbonization device 1 has a distribution chamber 21 to which the carbonized organic matter piece S0 is supplied from above by a supply means 10, The carbonization chamber 23, the refining chamber 25, and the discharge chamber 27 are configured from a vertical cylindrical carbonization furnace 20 that is sequentially arranged from top to bottom, and the carbonization chamber 23 has an upper end partitioned by a distribution chamber bottom plate 21A. A carbonized pipe 30 extending downward from the plurality of openings O1 of the bottom plate and having a gas venting part 31 at the upper end is housed, and a gas venting chamber 23A corresponding to the gas venting part 31 and a lower carbonized chamber 23B below the gas venting chamber 23A. The lower end is partitioned by a support plate 24 that individually supports the lower ends of the carbonized pipes 30 in the openings O2. The degassing chamber 23A is connected to gas suction means 36, and the refining chamber 25 has ignition means 46 and air supply means B1. |
