abstract | Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cytotoxicity test method which can accurately and directly measure the cell activity of cultured cells one by one and quantify the toxicity of a chemical substance to be tested with high precision. SOLUTION: The adherent cells are selectively adherently cultured on the surface of the cell-adhesive film pattern, and subsequently exposed to a culture solution in which a toxic test chemical is dissolved for a certain period of time, and then the cells are adhered to the cell-adhesive film pattern surface. The toxicity of the toxic test chemical is quantified by measuring the change in the concentration of sodium ions inside the adherent cells, which is only present in the cells. |
