| abstract | A prosthetic heart valve includes an expandable annular frame and a valve structure. The annular frame has an inflow end and an outflow end, the outflow end being separated from the inflow end along the axial direction of the frame. The annular frame can also include multiple commissural support posts. A valve structure is supported within the annular frame and includes a plurality of leaflets. Each leaflet has a pair of tabs. Adjacent leaflet tabs are paired together to form a commissural tab assembly. Each commissure tab assembly is coupled to a corresponding one of the commissure support posts. Each commissure support post has a first portion with one or more projections, the one or more projections being axially aligned with the frame and each commissure. Axial movement of the inner tab assembly is constrained in the downstream direction. |
