An air inlet having a casing sized and shaped to enclose and seal and an upwardly facing opening located above the plant board and designed to provide laminar airflow to the interior of the cover. and a channel, wherein the aperture is sized and shaped to provide air flow from the cover to the casing when housing the plant stem.
