abstract The ostomy pouch has a pair of opposing sidewalls, one of which defines a stormer receiving opening for receiving a portion of the storm into the ostomy pouch during use, and one or both of the sidewalls. Its inner surface is formed of a polymer film that is at least partially coated with hydrophobic particles, the hydrophobic particles comprising a metal oxide core and a hydrocarbon chain having 2-40 carbon atoms. The hydrocarbon chain is chemically bonded to the metal oxide core.
