abstract | The present application discloses a negative electrode active material, a method for producing the same, and a secondary battery, a battery module, a battery pack and an apparatus related thereto. The negative electrode active material includes a core material and a polymer modified coating layer on at least a part of the surface thereof, and the core material contains one or more of a silicon-based material and a tin-based material. The coating layer contains an element of sulfur and an element of carbon, and is scattered at positions of 900 cm -1 to 960 cm -1 , 1300 cm -1 to 1380 cm -1 and 1520 cm -1 to 1590 cm -1 in the Raman spectrum of the negative electrode active material, respectively. The intensity I 1 of the peak of the scattering peak at the position where the Raman shift is 900 cm -1 to 960 cm -1 , and the intensity I of the peak of the scattering peak at the position where the Raman shift is 1520 cm -1 to 1590 cm -1 .
