titleOfInvention | Synthesis of bioactive Ganoderma lucidum compounds and anti-cancer derivatives; ergosterol peroxide probe for cell localization |
abstract | Bioactive compounds of Ganoderma lucidum extract (GLE) involved in anticancer activity have been elucidated using NMR, X-ray crystallography and analog derivatization, and anticancer activity studies. The structures of the seven most abundant GLE compounds are disclosed. Their selective efficacy against triple-negative (TNBC) and inflammatory breast cancer (IBC), as well as other human cancer cell types (solid malignancies and hematological malignancies) has been demonstrated and their as anti-cancer agents. Confirmed potential. |
