Production and tracking of engineered cells with combined genetic modifications |
abstract |
To generate genetically modified cells by introducing a combination of gene variants (designed or random) or constructs (genes or otherwise arbitrary DNA) into a population of cells, and called a barcode locus. Methods for tracking each variant combination by sequentially constructing an array of barcodes at a common locus (chromosome or plasmid) are described herein. Also described are cells produced by such a method. |
