The mouthguard senses the impact force and determines if the force exceeds the impact threshold. If so, the mouthguard informs the user of the risk of damage by haptic feedback, vibration feedback, and / or audible feedback. Mouthguard systems can also remotely communicate risk conditions and potential damage. Mouthguards use local memory devices to store impact thresholds based on personal biometric information obtained from the user and compare the perceived forces against these thresholds. The mouthguard and its electrical components on the printed circuit board are custom-made for the user so that the mouthguard provides a comfortable and secure fit while ensuring outstanding performance. |
