abstract In the present invention, a hydrophilic substance and a hydrophobic substance are simply covalently bound or linker-mediated at both ends of a double-stranded oligonucleotide in order to efficiently transmit an androgen receptor-specific oligonucleotide into the cell. Double-stranded oligonucleotide structures having a covalently bonded structure, nanoparticles capable of self-assembling the double-stranded oligonucleotide structures in an aqueous solution by hydrophobic interaction, and the double-stranded structure. Regarding the composition for preventing hair loss or hair growth containing an oligonucleotide structure, a double-stranded oligonucleotide structure containing an androgen receptor-specific oligonucleotide according to the present invention and a composition for preventing hair loss or hair growth containing the same as an active ingredient. The substance can suppress the expression of androgen receptor with high efficiency without side effects, and can show excellent effects on hair loss, particularly on prevention of androgenic hair loss, circular hair loss, resting hair loss and induction of hair growth.
