Bone regeneration material with a cotton-shaped structure consisting of multiple electrospun fibers |
abstract |
Disclosed is a bone regeneration material having a cotton-like structure composed of a plurality of electrolytically spun fibers in which BMP-2 is bound via a β-TCP binding peptide. Electrolytically spun fibers contain 25-65 vol% of β-TCP particles dispersed in the fibers, which exposes some of the β-TCP particles to the surface of the electrospun fibers and the rest of the β-TCP particles. Is embedded in the fiber without being exposed to the outside. The β-TCP-binding peptide fused with BMP-2 is bound to β-TCP particles such that BMP-2 connects to β-TCP particles on the surface of the fiber. BMP-2, in which the bone regeneration material is embedded in the bone defect site of the human body and is linked to β-TCP particles on the surface of the bone regeneration material, promotes cell proliferation and differentiation in the bone defect site.
