abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for solubilizing a poorly water-soluble substance with high versatility that can be applied to a wide variety of poorly water-soluble substances by a simple method using a solubilizer that is highly biocompatible and has a low environmental load, and a method for solubilizing a poorly water-soluble substance. A solubilizing composition of matter is provided. A sparingly water-soluble substance and at least one solubilizer selected from gelatin, polyglutamic acid and polylysine are pulverized and mixed using a ball mill or a mortar and pestle to obtain a pulverized mixture. and adding water to the pulverized mixture to obtain an aqueous solution of the pulverized mixture, thereby solubilizing the poorly water-soluble substance.
