abstract Kind Code: A1 A method for discriminating the locality of Jano mustache is provided. [Solution] Jano mustache powder and an ethanol aqueous solution with a volume percent concentration of 85% to 95% are placed in a processing box 1, heated and refluxed for complete extraction, a filtrate is obtained, and the filtrate is concentrated to non-ethanol. From there, ionized water is added to gently precipitate at 2-10° C., the supernatant is taken up, filtered, and the content of ophiopogonin in Jano mustache powder is measured by high performance liquid chromatography.
