[Problem to be solved] Compared with conventional metformin bases, the hygroscopicity is weak, the solubility in water is good, the intrinsic dissolution rate of metformin can be delayed, the bioavailability of metformin bases is improved, and the bioavailability of metformin bases is improved. A novel salt of metformin, which is expected to be improved, and a method for preparing the same are provided. A method for preparing metformin salt includes the steps of weighing metformin raw materials and pharmaceutical excipient acids, uniformly mixing, ball milling, and passing through a 154 μm stainless steel mesh to obtain metformin salt.
