abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a cross arm for erecting an electric wire that can prevent nesting of birds. A cross arm includes a cross arm body (1) and a bird entry prevention member (2). The cross arm body 1 is made of an aluminum profile, and has a locked portion 3 for a bird entry prevention member 2 at its longitudinal end. The bird intrusion prevention member 2 is fixed to the cross arm body 1 by elastically locking the locking parts 4 provided at both ends to the locked parts 3 from the inside or outside of the cross arm body 1 .
