titleOfInvention | Method for producing halocarbonyl compound |
abstract | Kind Code: A1 A method for producing a halocarbonyl compound at a high yield without requiring an expensive oxidizing agent or a metal salt that may be left behind while suppressing the amount of halogen cation source used is provided. A reaction step of electrolytically reacting a cyclic compound represented by the following formula (1) in a solution containing a halide salt and an ammonium salt to obtain a halocarbonyl compound represented by the following formula (1'). A method for producing a halocarbonyl compound. A cyclic compound represented by the following formula (1) is a compound having a ring A having a hydroxy group and R 1 ; in formula (1) or (1′), R 1 is hydrogen or a monovalent organic R 2 represents an optionally substituted divalent hydrocarbon group having 2 to 12 carbon atoms, and the carbon atoms constituting the hydrocarbon group are nitrogen, oxygen, or sulfur; optionally substituted; Z represents a halogen group.
