| abstract |
A method and a system for performing the same are provided. A time synchronization method according to the present invention is a method for time synchronization between a host device and a storage device, wherein the storage device determines a time synchronization interval for which time information of the host device is required. notifying the time synchronization interval from the storage device to the host device; and providing time information of the host device from the host device to the storage device during the time synchronization interval. and, in the storage device, synchronizing the time information of the storage device with the time information of the host device based on the time information of the host device.
