abstract |
A carrier for an electrostatic latent image developer capable of maintaining charging stability, resistance stability, and high image quality over a long period of time is provided. The carrier has a core particle and a coating layer that coats the core particle, wherein the coating layer contains flat chargeable fine particles, and the carrier has an apparent density of 2.0 [g/cm 3 ] or more. 2.5 [g/cm 3 ] or less, the internal porosity of the core particles is 0.0 [%] or more and 2.0 [%] or less, and the flat shape of the chargeable fine particles has a long axis R1 [nm] A carrier for an electrostatic latent image developer whose ratio to the thickness R2 [nm] satisfies the relationship of 1.0≤R1/R2≤3.0.
