abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a light-emitting device with little luminance unevenness. Another object of the present invention is to provide a light-emitting module, a planar light source, and a liquid crystal display device with little luminance unevenness. A light-emitting device includes a light source, a sealing member that covers a light-emitting surface and side surfaces of the light source, and a translucent member that covers the upper surface and side surfaces of the sealing member.
